Lose Weight, Improve Cholesterol

Lose Weight, Improve Cholesterol

Cycling is often said to be a great way of improving respiration and muscles in the body, but it’s also a great way of losing weight and improving your cholesterol. When you cycle, your body is made to use the reserves of fat in your body to create energy, meaning that you lose weight. This is pretty basic stuff, and it’s true for near enough all exercise – but what you may be unaware of is that by cycling, you can also change the balance of cholesterol in the body.
This exercise means that your body begins to favour the protective form of cholesterol, over cholesterol that affects your health negatively. When your body weight reduces, cholesterol becomes more optimized – and in turn, this enables you to continue cycling by improving muscle ability and flexibility.
It’s a great cycle of health, so why not take up cycling if you need to lower cholesterol? Not everything can be fixed by low fat olive oil spread!
