Interval Cycling Workouts

Interval Cycling Workouts

If you want to incorporate cycling into your daily life, but you’re not sure how to start, then here’s a quick tip. One of the best ways you can make cycling as effective as possible is by working out in interval blocks. The concept of ‘Tabata’ is becoming increasingly well known amongst circles of cyclists and sports lovers. The basic idea that that you do 20 seconds of hard cycling, accompanied by another 10 seconds of easy cycling.
If you keep this Tabata cycle going for between eight and ten minutes, you will be able to get the most out of your cycling exercise regime. If you repeat it eight times, you will have a four minute workout. So stick to this basis, and you can create your own unique workout that fits into your lunch break, your morning, or in your evening. It’s a simple concept but it’s proven to be effective in training circles.
